The Playboys 13 and/or Rabbit Gang are known to have a great number of different ethnicities in the street gang most of the street gang’s members are Mexican-American, whilst there is still a great amount of African-Americans, the Mexican-Americans outnumber the African-Americans. The Rabbit Gang are one of the smaller street gangs on the South Side of South Central, even though they are one of the smaller gangs they still hold their own.
The Rabbit Gang are one of the oldest street gangs, which they originated in the 1960’s starting off dominating most of South Central for a while. They dominated most of South Central for about 10 years, then more street gangs start to originate, they couldn’t hold their own for long, which made their turf smaller of course. They are known to sell narcotics, weapons and many more to the streets of South Central.
One of the biggest rivalries as of right now are the Rabbit Gang and 18th Street, they have been going at it for years, but it started getting worse around 2017. They have been going back and forth killing, shooting, jumping, stabbing, and many more violent acts to each other, it’s been a nightmare on both sides after all the back-and-forth killings. The police have gotten involved of course, but most of the killers are still roaming around freely.
The Playboys 13 Gang make most of there money from the street selling marijuana along with other illegal drugs. There was multiple reports of the Southside and Eastside Playboys 13 members being involved with a shooting in Washington, killing a innocent man. Along with another shooting in the Portland area of Oregon. They faced multiple charges for these acts.
Comparing to most street gangs with tagging up there neighborhoods with graffiti, The Playboys 13 Gang is known for having very good and detailed graffiti throughout there neighborhood. Breaking the gang has been difficult for police departments because there's no direct leadership.

Present day Playboys 13 gang pay homage to the Mexican Mafia also known as La eme. They share the Eastside of Los Angeles, California with opposing gangs.
Playboys 13 originated during the 1970's dominating a large portion of South Centrals Eastside stretching from Vernon Avenue to Slauson Avenue The Eastside Playboys cliques today consist of 56th Street, 51st Street, 49th Street Hitters, 46st Zoo-Riders, and the 42nd Street Bangers. By the 2000's they had subsets throughout the city of Los Angeles, California. Calvin Hastings, also known as "Spanky" was a artist from the playboy's 13 gang he was shot and killed on fathers day in 2016 he is mostly known for his foster-brother to Compton rapper Game, Game expressed his sorrow for "Spanky" on all his social media accounts. Today in 2021 The Playboys 13 Gang stands strong with alot of active members in the set. Recruiting people to the Playboys 13 gang often every year.
Today the Playboys 13 Gang, are allies with the Carnales 13, and the Wild Boyz. Past Allies are the Broadway Gangster Crips and the Avalon Gangster Crips. Their arch enemies are the Florencia 13 (F-13), 38th Street Gang, Hang Out Boyz, 41st Street Gang, and the Mexican Klan 13.
